Ace Pathway Solutions is an independent living housing provider located in San Diego, California. We
offer clean, safe, affordable, and structured shared-room accommodations for seniors, veterans, and
individuals re-entering society.
No, Ace Pathway Solutions is none of the above. We are an independent living community — a
professionally managed residential housing facility. Our residents are independent individuals who
pay rent and live in a structured, supportive community environment. We are not a licensed
treatment facility, shelter, or assisted living facility.
We serve three primary populations: seniors and elderly individuals, U.S. military veterans, and
individuals re-entering society after incarceration or other life disruptions. All residents must pass our
admissions screening, which includes a background check and substance screening.
We offer furnished shared rooms with two beds — one per resident. Each resident has their own bed,
wardrobe/storage space, and personal bedside area. Residents share a common bathroom, kitchen,
living area, and laundry facilities.
Yes. All rooms are furnished with a bed frame, quality mattress, wardrobe/closet, bedside table, and
lamp. Residents are responsible for bringing their own bedding (sheets, pillows, blankets) and
personal items.
Most complete applications are processed within 5–10 business days. The timeline depends on
background check agency response times and the completeness of the application.
Family members may assist with the application process. However, the prospective resident must be
able to demonstrate the ability to live independently in a shared-room community setting.
Yes. Monthly rent includes all utilities — electricity, water, gas, and WiFi internet access.
Residents may express preferences, but final roommate assignments are made by our admissions
team based on a careful compatibility assessment. Our goal is always to match roommates who are
compatible in lifestyle, schedule, and temperament.
We take roommate conflicts seriously. If a conflict arises, residents are encouraged to speak with our
Resident Services Coordinator, who will work to mediate the situation or arrange an alternative room
assignment when possible.
We encourage eligible residents to explore housing voucher options. Please contact our admissions
team to discuss your specific situation and current voucher acceptance status.
No. We review each application on a case-by-case basis. The nature of the offense, time elapsed, and
your demonstrated commitment to a drug-free lifestyle are all considered. Certain offenses — such
as sex offenses — are automatic disqualifiers.
Our substance screening tests for illicit drugs (including marijuana), alcohol, and nicotine/tobacco
products. Our community is strictly drug-free, alcohol-free, and smoke-free.
Yes. If you are denied admission due to a failed substance screening, we encourage you to pursue
appropriate recovery support and reapply after demonstrating a sustained period of sobriety.
